Devon Hyland is a comedian/musician/writer/person from Toronto, Canada.

He began commercial acting when in high school, and then started his professional comedy career with The Second City in 2010, performing/living on their cruise ship companies for 9 months.

He then joined Second City's Education Company as a performer and teacher of students in Ontario. Later he joined the Touring Company where for the next two and a half years he toured classic Second City scenes. He helped write and perform in The Second City Toronto's holiday shows in 2014 and 2015.

In 2017, Devon joined The Second City Mainstage, where he wrote and performed in two revues.

He frequently works with Connor Thompson. They have toured across Canada with their critically acclaimed fringe show, Dale Beaner and the Turtle Boy. The play won Best of Fest in the 2010 Ottawa Fringe and was called "one of the best written, most highly polished comedies of this or any other fringe" by the Halifax Chronicle Herald. The script for the show was included in the curriculum of a high school in Illinois. Toronto's EYE Weekly called it "reminiscent of hit cult flick Wet Hot American Summer (if not a stoner-comedy Field of Dreams.)"

Devon and Connor have also produced Time Drones, a sci-fi/comedy podcast, The Playcast, a play-series podcast, and Stay Out of the Desert, a four-part sci-fi fantasy comedy webseries.

You can hear Devon as the voice of Gavin Moonboom on an upcoming episode of Cupcake & Dino: General Services (Netflix).

Devon is represented by ETM Talent Management in Toronto.
